In 2009 I self-published my first novel entitled The Darkness Saga: The Light (currently available at amazon.co.uk) which has been generally positively received by my small but loyal fan base. There are already a number of sequels that I have written but continuing studies and other commitments have prevented me from publishing the second book in The Darkness Saga, however, it is my intention to publish the second book as soon as I have the time.
During a brief period working for a DVD retailer I was approached to write articles for the company's website and went on to successfully publish a number of reviews which received positive responses. I frequent the cinema, favoring the science-fiction and horror genres, and have a large DVD collection with titles ranging from science-fiction to romantic comedies to classic horror. I write articles for the simple enjoyment of writing. I welcome positive points and constructive negative criticism, however, I only ask my readers to remember that I am only expression my own humble opinion in my articles. I may like something I may dislike it, but I will always attempt to explain exactly why I either loved or loathed something, and I ask anyone who wishes to comment on my articles to tell me why they have a difference of opinion so I can potentially use their comments to improve my writing.
Writing is an excellent form of expression and I enjoy reading the works of my favorite author Michael Crichton, however, I have also read extensively and relish sitting down to read a good book. Indeed I think that an excellent book is far better than any film because it enables the reader to create the world contained within the pages inside their head instead of simply being shown on the big or small screen.
